Here you will find a wealth of knowledge about our chapter, the Alliance LARP, and Live Action Role-playing in general.  Vandlar is an engaging world of monsters, adventure, magic and glory- and there is always room for new Heroes to take their place beside their fellow Adventurers.  Welcome to Alliance LARP Ohio's Official Homepage. 

 Our fourth season is well under way with new Plot Teams creating and expanding new stories, epics and legends in Vandlar. This summer is promising to be one of our best ever as new adversaries emerge and existing Plot takes unexpected twists.  The Stories of Vandlar are never static- they evolve as our Players interact with them allowing Players to achieve fame, power and their own personal goals (for good or for ill).

Feel free to browse the site, visit the message boards, and if you still have any questions you can contact us by clicking on the links in the main menu.  If you are new to Live Action Role Playing (or just curious) please check out our FAQ under the Main Menu to the left.  By Registering for our site (see below) you gain access to many Contact Forms which will easily allow New Players and existing LARPers to contact staff for questions, Event Registration, etc.  

Recent Website Issues: Fixed!

Recent issues caused our Website to be unavailable for several days.  In the future issues which prevent you from navigating to our site may be discussed at the Alliance-Wide forum www.alliancelarp.com/forum under the Ohio Out of Game Section.  If you encounter any issues please use the General Alliance Questions Forum under the Contact Form menu to the left to report issues.

Please watch for updates on the Event Locations-- we're looking at new Winter sites and the address of our Event may change.  If so it will be updated here, on the Event Dates and Location page as well as the Alliance LARP Message Boards under "Ohio Out of Game" (see link under Main Menu).

Our next event will be January 9-11.   The exact location is still being determined but, for now, the location of our "old" winter camp (found under Event Dates and Locations link to the left) will allow people to plan.  Both camps being considered (the current Winter Site and a new site we are considering) are within the same geographic area and drive times, while they will be varied, should be adjusted by no more than 35-50 minutes (often shorter).

10$ for food (everyone).  Food cost covers 1 Meal Friday and 2 Meals Saturday.

40$ Game (As Player)  for PRE-REGISTRATION.  PREREGISTRATION for an event includes both payment AND Event Registration form submitted before the Event (cut off date is 01/03/08).  If PREREGISTRATION is NOT received by this time you will be considered "pay at door"(see below). (MUST ALSO PAY FOOD COST OF 10$.  The total cost to PC this event for a pre-registration character would be 50$.)

50$ Game (As Player) for pay-at-door. (MUST ALSO PAY FOOD COST OF 10$ see above) The total cost with food is therefore 60$ for pay-at-the-door players.
